Our Skin Aid herbal salve is the perfect solution for all of your skin ailments. Packed with powerful herbs this salve helps generate skin cell growth and speed up the healing time of cuts, scrapes, rashes, bug bites, burns, blisters, and eczema.  

Made by an herbal infusions process all of our herbal salves start off with a fat base made up of equal parts 100% grass fed tallow and 100% pasture/forest raised lard and some added beeswax. The fat and wax mixture is then heated up and melted using a double boiler. Next the herbal blend is added to the fat mixture allowing the active ingredients to infuse into the fats. Once the infusions process is finished the mixture is then strained of the solid herbal components and allowed to cool into a solid salve with all of the herbal benefits.

How to Use

Rub directly on the affected area (burned, cut, rash, etc) 1-2 times per day. Due to the fat content of the salve, it shouldn’t be used on deep cuts or punctures as the fat will encapsulate the impacted area hindering deeper healing. Comfrey has also been cited to heal skin too fast and trapping infection.

1. Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) : great for all forms of topical healing. Comfrey has been used for sores, bruises, skin wounds, and all sorts of ailments from ancient times to present day! 
2. Plantain (Plantago major) : historically used everywhere it has been found. This roadside weed works on respiratory systems, boosts immunity and aids in digestion when taken topically. Externally, it aids healing of cuts, soothe stings, abrasions and burns. 
3. Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) : Traditionally, it was used in 3 ways 1) Applied to the skin for wounds and minor bleeding 2) Taken by mouth to reduce inflammation, especially in the digestive tract 3)Taken as a sedative to relieve anxiety or insomnia
